What you need for this position: - Master's Degree required in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders - Ability to organize a speech program that addresses local school speech/language goals. - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, teachers, students, and administrators. - Ability to coordinate speech/language services with services provided by other school personnel. - Comprehensive knowledge of growth and development of children with speech/language needs. - Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms. - Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans. - Ability to move from school to school to address student needs. - Knowledge of federal and state rules governing programs and services for children with speech/language needs. - Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, fingering, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. - Must possess the visual acuity to prepare data and reports, and operate a computer.
