| Immediate opening for 3 experienced home-based digital transcribers with a minimum of five years of transcription experience. Should have digital transcription software (such as Express Scribe), high quality headphones, MS Word, Powerpoint, and reliable high speed internet for downloading and uploading audio and text files and Powerpoints. You must be able to type a minimum of 85 wpm, have an excellent ear for hearing multiple voices, people with accents, mumblers, and grammatically challenged speakers. Our audio files are usually of very good quality, but if you have experience with this type of audio then our HR people will see this as a bonus. Hours are flexible, but we prefer people who are available during normal business hours (Australia). This job entails two day turnaround of approximately one to two hour files. The files are IT/marketing related and requires the ability to follow along with PowerPoint slides as the presenters speak. If you are somewhat savvy with IT terminology that will be extremely helpful, but not necessary. Speed, accuracy and reliability are the most critical factors. Please note that you will be tested.
