General Description and Reporting Structure:
This position is designed to help advance the Sales process in the Americas and worldwide, by providing technical capabilities on a continual basis to the Sales organization. With a wide array of products, expanding capabilities within products, and a rapidly growing marketplace, In need of technically demonstratable product capabilities in the field. Reporting to the Vice President of Presales Consulting in the Americas and based in the Broomfield offices, this position will enjoy a wide range of functions including occasional travel, access to products prior to release, knowledge of all products, and participation of initial project architecting.Desired Background and Experience:
- Candidate must be able to quickly become comfortable in multiple operating systems, including Windows Server 2000/2003, Linux, HP-UX, and Solaris
- Candidate must be able to quickly become comfortable in MSSQL and Oracle databases (basic architecture, basic statement construction)
- Candidate should be comfortable speaking in front of groups of 2-30 people
- Candidate should possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or similar), or have equivalent experience in the field performing technical operations functions for at least 5 years.
- Candidate should have general telecommunications domain knowledge; a particular understanding of telecommunications network operations, revenue assurance, billing, or fraud is preferred. |
