Req ID 212984BR Industry Job Title Systems Administrator Sr Standard Job Code/Title E1993:Systems Administrator Sr Required skills Systems Administrator must have extensive knowledge and hands on experience managing Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) operating systems, system security, configuration control, system accreditation, system certification, TEMPEST, Information Assurance, network susceptibilities, network vulnerabilities and Automated Information Systems (AIS) risk management processes; in-depth knowledge of AIS security policies, practices, and procedures associated with the day-to- day security management of a Special Access Program network; working knowledge of network infrastructure (e.g., network topologies/components, network cables (CAT5, fiber optic, media converters), etc.) supporting voice, data, and video transmission; experience working with Communications Security (COMSEC) materials, maintaining accountability for sensitive cryptographic materials, troubleshooting/installing equipment, and maintaining records. Background in systems used in the JSPOC Enclave as well as general knowledge in 14th Air Force operations a plus. Communication skills and independent troubleshooting capability a must in this position as we work hand-in-hand with the customers and interface on a daily basis with all levels of government from Generals to airman basic and other contractors. Desired skills Experience in technical support operations, developing troubleshooting flows to standardize technical support approach to end user communication malfunctions is another trait highly desirable. Desirable knowledge/experience in skill to manage the processes for multiple networks. Specific Job Description Technically capable IT professional who is self motivated, able to work independently and as a team member; ability to effectively communicate - both written and oral - while supporting and managing the processes for multiple networks in a joint military environment; Special Access Program (SAP) experience and familiarity with DCID 6/3 and JAFAN 6/3. Experience as a Systems Administrator responsible for administering the Air Force Special Enclave Local and Wide Area Networks (AFSEN LAN/WAN) including the planning, analysis, acquisition, design, development, implementation, quality assurance, configuration, installation, integration, maintenance testing, and operational integrity of networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and video formats for the Air Force Special Enclave Network supporting a joint and Air Force mission.
