Title: Exercise Coordinator-Trainer Professional Location: USA-CA: CALIFORNIA-SAN DIEGO Other Locations: Federal Training is actively searching for a Exercise Coordinator- Trainer Professional to support the Naval Air Station North Island, Southern California Offshore Range (SCORE) Contract, San Diego, CA.The Exercise Coordinator (EC) will liaise with the assigned Government Program Manager (PM), keeping the PM informed of the progress in exercise planning, execution and results. The EC will be responsible, under the direction of the Range Operations Manager, for the overall management of the programs and exercises assigned to him/her. He will attend and/or conduct pre-exercise briefings and planning meetings, and will maintain all documentation for each operation including all pertinent plans, message traffic, and briefing notes. The EC will liaise with range users and range support activities during the planning and execution of range operations. He/she will ensure that a pre-exercise ship/aircrew brief is conducted for the participants, familiarizing them with the range, range operating procedures and post exercise data products Essential Job Functions * Conducts training courses, both on-site and on-line, for professional development and non-technical skills training to include lectures, web-based programs and hands-on sessions. * Works with applicable business unit/area to establish specifications of course, prerequisite skills and knowledge for trainees. Ensures that training courses address all levels of employee. * Prepares lesson plans including developing and preparing training materials such as manuals, handouts, instructor guides and audio-visuals. * Assists in conducting needs assessments to ensure training needs are met. * Gathers, reviews and analyzes course evaluations to determine effectiveness of training sessions. Prepares recommendations and reports to senior level personnel and/or management. * Reviews, as requested, external training programs to determine feasibility of purchase. Makes recommendations to management as appropriate. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational development, human resources or related field preferred * Two or more years of training experience * Experience working with communications practices, principles and procedures for both on-site and on-line presentations * Experience working with instructional design and adult learning and training methodologies * Proven Military Officer Sub-Specialist designation in AMW, USW, MIW,STW, SUW,AW, NSW, or EW. * Commanding Officer experience in AMW, USW, MIW, STW, SUW, AW, NSW, EW. Other Qualifications: * Eight years experience in Navy AMW, USW, MIW, STW, SUW, AW, NSW, and/or EW operatioins, including exercise scheduling, requirements and resource analsis, planning, execution, data acquistion and support documentation. * Five (5) years exper |
