Relocation Provided Yes General Job Objective Manitowoc Foodservice Company, global leaders in commercial foodservice equipment, is seeking a Electrical Design Engineer. Key responsibilities of this position include: common architecture for hardware design support; defining hardware design specification; microprocessor selection; hardware in the loop testing support and validation of hardware design coming from the supplier. In addition, the engineer will be working on several critical 2012 projects to be released in 2012/2013 time frame. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, this position is based in New Port Richey, FL. Essential Job Functions - Electronic design architecture - Microprocessor evaluation and selection - Hardware design review support - Documentation of specifications for hardware design - Hardware supplier management - Support agency requirements for electronic controls Job Requirements/Working Conditions - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required - A minimum of 10 years experience in Electrical Engineering, hardware design and agency logistics required. - Experience in hardware development of analog and digital circuits required. - Fluency with UL and CE agency regulations required. - Must be able to mentor/coach others. - Expert design skills in circuit design. - Must be able to lift 50 lbs. - Normal office environment.
