The Trade Sales Analyst provides analytical, project and administrative support for the new construction segment, commercial segment and showroom segment. This position is the owner of the builder contract management system and the sale of excess and obsolete inventory and responsible for ensuring success with top builders nationwide. The Trade Sales Analyst is also involved with new product introductions, big builder presentations, and sales analytics to help out as needed. This position will lead or work on several cross functional teams with product marketing, operations, productions, IS, brand marketing and customer service on a regular basis to ensure that each department involved in the initiative is knowledgeable and on board. The Trade Sales Analyst reports to the Sales Transaction Manager. Principal Accountabilities include but not limited to: manage and own the entire process for selling excess and obsolete inventory to existing customers and liquidators by balancing the needs of operations, the customer and finance; understand and improve the efficiency which we approve builder contracts; collect and analyze data such as market share analysis, competitive data, quarterly builder statements and ensure necessary adjustments are made / actions are taken based on such results; drive and manage projects for national accounts as assigned; work with specific customers and ensure updated information and files are available for use in catalogs; develop and update varied programs, policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of RMs such as builder catalogs, comparison charts, P&L templates, builder tool box and PowerPoint presentation templates; administer and monitor varied sales programs such as builder rebates, builder programs, commercial programs and showroom programs; coordinate national and regional show registration, displays and shipping as well as work the informational desk at national shows such as IBS, KBIS and PHCC; leverage use of technology and partner with marketing's resources in this area to improve efficiency and results, such as email campaigns, webinars,etc. The ideal candidate will possess a four year business degree from a college or university and 4 + years of customer service or sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. It is essential that this individual has the ability to adapt to change and work within a flexible environment with multiple and changing priorities.
