Looking for a candidate who performs tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, data entry, standard report preparation and analysis. Works in a team environment providing support to Education Business Services and Financial Aid/Registrar Office under limited supervision. Completes all accounts receivable activity and prepares daily receipts for posting. Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. Good investigational skills, shows attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Works independently to coordinate assigned processes/programs; e.g. appointment, application, interview, scheduling, pre- and post-matriculation, orientation, and committee support. Serves as a resource and interprets Enterprise, College of Medicine, and/or school/department specific policies and procedures for College of Medicine learners/faculty, program directors, and coordinators at all Mayo Clinic campuses. Must be able to handle many activities and challenges simultaneously, with minimal direction. Must use good judgment in facilitating questions, phone calls, meeting scheduling, and other assignments. Serves as a resource and/or trainer for applicable technology systems. Coordinates and maintains specific learner/faculty data (e.g., entering/updating data, preparing reports, etc.). Attends courses and meetings to enhance or improve job knowledge, representing Mayo Clinic, College of Medicine, and/or # Basic Qualifications: Formal training in an administrative assistant/secretarial field through vocational school, college, or equivalent experience is required. Two years of college level courses is preferred. Minimum of five years of successful administrative assistant/secretarial experience is required.
