The Department Manufacturing/Production- One of the most critical needs we now have at SpaceX is for Manufacturing/Production staff. With two vehicles flight proven, we have a $3 billion backlog of sold flights. The next critical phase is proving our ability to build rockets with increasing speed while maintaining quality in order to meet the markets high demand. The growth of our production department is critical to hit these significant milestones that lie ahead. Technicians and Trade Skills -SpaceX is continuing to build our highly skilled technician and trades workforce; the extensive in house development and production capabilities at SpaceX would not be possible without their contributions. The Job Responsibilities * Follow established procedures to setup and operate the orbital welding system. * Work from blue prints and approved drawings. * Cut and prepare all tubing and fittings used in the welding operation. * Perform setup of the welding system. * Assembles and calibrates liquid controllers and systems as required. * Inspect all completed assemblies using the borescope inspection system. * Maintain an adequate supply of spare parts for the welding system. * Maintain a clean work area.
