Location Santa Clara ValleyCountry United States City Cupertino State California Job type Job description The Worldwide Operations Finance team is looking for a finance professional to serve as a Worldwide Logistics Finance Systems Specialist. This is a highly visible and challenging role that will interact with both internal and external business partners on a regional and global scale. The primary goal is to drive standardized processes and systems for Apple Logistics Finance by directly supporting systems implementation and tools used to support forecasting, analysis, financial close, and performance scorecards. The ideal candidate will serve as both a superuser of the systems and key creative lead for regional and world wide reports and dashboards. The candidate should possess a highly developed business acumen and analytical skills paired with strong sense for business partnering and customer service. Roles and responsibilities for this position include the following: Assist in the vision, strategy, design, and launch of each system/process and phase of Logistics Finance projects.
Translate business requirements into KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and automated reports
Serve as Superuser for all Logistics & Freight Pay systems
Work with IT resources to design, test, train, launch, and support ongoing key performance indicators, metrics, reports, and dashboards for Finance and Operations
Support regional Finance Logistics Systems Analysts
Train new and existing Logistics and Finance employees Interact with all levels (from analyst to Executive VPs) and departments (such as other Finance groups, or IS&T, Facilities, Procurement, Logistics, Planning etc.). The ideal candidate would have most of the following requirements and skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or technical degree with MBA
5+ years professional work experience
Previous experience in Finance or Logistics in a multinational company
Demonstrated experience managing process and system development and implementation
Demonstrated experience facilitating business requirements between Finance & IT
Experience performing budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
Demonstrated strong analytical and logic abilities
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills - Collaborative; able to build consensus among cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data at a macro and micro level
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt considered a plus |
