| Warehouse Workers: - Receive merchandise, equipment, and supplies in a timely and accurate manner.
- Count, unpack, pack, scan, sort, weigh, and verify incoming and outgoing merchandise and inventories.
- Inspect merchandise for quality and conformity.
- Move stock.
- Prepare periodic or special inventories, and participate in inventory management.
- Prepare merchandise for shipment to other locations.
- Complete other duties as assigned. If a position as a Warehouse Worker interests you, this job involves the following qualifications and essential functions, so you must be able to: - Lift up to 20 lbs on a regular basis.
- Stand/walk on a concrete floor all day.
- Climb ladder and/or step stool on a regular basis.
- Stoop, bend, and kneel in order to unpack and re-pack merchandise.
- Use basic material handling/cutting tools.
- Count merchandise accurately.
- Complete daily assignments, meet deadlines with accuracy, and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
- Interact appropriately with co-workers and supervisors in a professional manner that contributes positively to the team environment.
- Work scheduled shift which is Monday through Friday 3:15pm- 11:45pm with mandatory overtime required at certain peak business times. Some holiday shifts may be required as the business dictates.
- Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
