Job Title Construction Worker III
Location Colorado- Denver
Job Description As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM's mission by: Taking personal responsibility for safety in the working environment and promoting safety among your peers, subordinates, and supervisors Digging and spreading dirt in order to level earth to fine grade specifications Measuring distances from grade stakes, driving stakes and stretching tight line Signaling operator of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications Assisting in cell dismantling and plant break down of chemical plants Decontaminating hazardous materials prepare for proper disposal Erecting and stripping various types of concrete formwork Placing/vibrating and patching concrete Cutting, positioning, joining, aligning and sealing sections of pipe Mopping, brushing, or spreading paints or bituminous compounds over surfaces for protection Grinding, sanding, or polishing surfaces, such as marble, terrazzo, or wood flooring Lubricating machinery Greasing, fueling, and cleaning heavy equipment Stocking construction materials Cleaning tools, equipment, materials and jobsite Possibly acting as lead over less experienced and less skilled workers Air testing for airborne contaminates Performing additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements A successful CDM candidate will have: A high school diploma or its equivalent (preferred) On-the-job training At least 2 years' remediation/water/wastewater construction site experience OSHA-required certifications The ability to travel frequently Valid driver's license (if necessary) Mechanical aptitude, including power tool use and repair The ability to follow specific directions to perform a variety of duties that may change often The ability to work within standards of accuracy The ability to evaluate information using measurable standards
