Job Description:

Nursing Assistant assists patients with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care, which support nursing practice under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. The nursing assistant carries out designated activities that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel. This includes assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care to patients and assisting in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.

Basic Qualifications:

Completion of high school preferred. Must have completed a 75-hour nurse aide training program within 4 months. Must be able to work under close supervision and follow verbal and written instructions. Must have an interest in helping people.

License or Certification: Must be registered by the Minnesota Department of Health if 75 hour nurse aide training program has been completed. If training program is not yet completed program and registry with Department of Health must be done within 4 months of date of hire. If previously on the Nursing Association Registry then must be on the Minnesota Nursing Association Registry prior to offering position.

Schedule Details: 2:15-10:45 PM; every other holiday, 6 AM - 2 PM
Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend, 6 AM - 2 PM
