To support Area Bankers and/or Market Leader in the sales, servicing and management of business clients. Assist in identifying and selling loans and essential services to customers and prospects. Prepare and process loan approval and closing documents, clear loan documentation deficiencies, contact clients regarding past due accounts and resolve customer account problems Principal Accountabilities: Provides sales support to the Area Banker: . Maintains prospect lists based on customer interactions. . Through daily account maintenance and problem resolution, identifies sales opportunities, solicits customer relationship when appropriate and involves Area Banker or other Bank professional when needed. . Identifies cross-sales opportunities from customer base when new products are introduced. Cross-sells customers on select new products. . Coordinates sales materials for Area Bankers to ensure professional presentations to customers. . Assist Area Banker in setting up sales calls, sending out information packets, etc. . Makes joint calls as requested with Area Banker on targeted customers. . Attends training courses for professional development, specifically focusing on credit analysis and understanding the business sales process. Services customer relationships: . Assists customers in the coordination of the total account relationship including deposit accounts. . Handles customer requests for information and resolves problems promptly. Involves Area Banker only as needed. . Handles line of credit advances and account transfers per established procedures. . Processes loan payments and collects fees. . Maintains working knowledge of financial products to recognize cross-sell opportunities. . Coordinates with branch associates in opening accounts and making referrals. . Presents product proposals to customers for selected essential services. . Develops long-term solutions for customer problems to help ensure account retention. Maintains accounts: . Resolves complex documentation exception issues. . Follows up and corrects all documentation deficiencies with customers, attorneys, insurance agents, Registrar of Deeds, Secretary of State, etc. . Contacts customers when financial statements are due. . Ensures customer files are maintained properly and updated promptly when current information is received. . Monitors loans that have annual payment adjustments to ensure proper review and follow up. . Monitors schedule of expired lines for prompt review and renewal.
