An exciting opportunity exists for aSales Managerto join a leading, international manufacturer of industrial components. Job Description Ã?· Act as theRegional Sales Manager for the western states, as well as theInside Sales Manger for in-house sales representatives
Ã?· Motivate independent sales reps to meet sales objectives
Ã?· Work with the National Sales Manager to ensure adequate sales coverage across the territory.
Ã?· Assist in the identification and capture of new business opportunities. Report new business opportunities using the company's opportunity tracking software.
Ã?· Work with strategic customers in thedevelopment of customized products and assemblies.
Ã?· Establish and maintain key OEM contacts.
Ã?· Provide ongoing analysis of market trends and competitive situations in the territory.
Ã?· Make recommendations to management to address emerging trends and market situations.
Ã?· Provide startegic marketing feedback to management to assist in the development of new products.
Ã?· Represent the company at industry functions, trade shows, conventions and industry organizations.
Ã?· Provide technical training for representatives and distributors.
Ã?· Assist the CEO in the development and implementation of company strategic plans and objectives.
All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Marketing or Business
* At least 10 years experience selling electronic/electrical components
* Strong knowledge ofswitches, switch panels, control knobs, etc.
* A minimum of 3 years overseeing and managing a sales channel, ideally for a manufacturer of electronic components
* Experience supervising both inside and outside sales forces
