Provides leadership and strategic consulting for the implementation, planning and support of all HR programs for the Retirement Services business unit.. Participates in the senior staff meetings as a strategic business partner to identify human resource implications (organizational design, employee selection and development, employee relations, executive and employee compensation, talent management, performance management). Partners with Multicultural Affairs - Workforce diversity, HCM Strategy as well as Talent Acquisition to ensure positions are being filled in a timely fashion with top graded talent. . Provides counsel, coaching & creative solutions that enhance individual and organizational performance. Translates business strategies into organizational initiatives and HR priorities. . ING as an organization has many different variable comp plans/ sales comp plans and comp knowledge is key to the success of the business unit. . Works systematically to diagnose problems, analyze data, identify root cause and recommend solutions for HR related business issues. . Conducts investigations involving situations of high volatility or legal impact (e.g. harassment, violence, fraud, etc) Ensures compliance with federal state and local laws on HR proactive and employment conditions. . Partners with IAC on Ex-pat, relocations and immigration issues. . Participates with other HR colleagues in the development of organization wide projects, including understanding their implications to the business and on the employees. Provide input on design of HR policies & programs. . Manage or oversee the management of various HR projects for their customer groups including implementation, communication, training and evaluation of those projects.
