The Paramedic/EDT assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision of the registered nurse. The Paramedic/EDT provides supportive care to the Emergency Department patients and performs approved procedures per policy. The Paramedic/EDT responses to inter-facility transfers and transports patients safely. Basic Qualifications:
One year of experience as EMT IT or higher.Acceptable driving record. Preferred:One year inpatient hospital experience. License or Certification: EMT-PARAMEDIC National Registry
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current Pals certification
Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
Hours/Pay Period: Per Diem
Compensation Detail: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $13.70 per hour.
