Consistently meet or exceed the financial, operatations and visual expectations of the company Presentation o Partner with the Visual Manager in planning, scheduling and executing an innovative visual environment o Utilize and manage the use of weekly sales reports to track, analyze and communicate business results and determine strategies to maximize sales o Conduct a merchant day weekly with Assistant Store Manager, Operations Department Manager, Selling Department Manager, Human Resources Manager, Operations Supervisor or Selling Supervisor o Communicate performance observations and offer feedback to buyers/distributors through the district point people o Maintain an awareness of home and apparel trends and relevance to the store environment o Manage and train the management and visual team in product and cleanliness standards o Determine regional customer distinctions allowing appropriate reaction to individual trends in business People o Manage and motivate a high level of customer care o Manage and motivate the level of floor supervision (MOD and CCOD) o Manage and motivate the store team o Manage recruiting and hiring o Serve as a proactive mentor, teacher and problem solver o Utilize Management Development Program and all available training tools to provide consistent training to all management staff o Conduct monthly one on ones with Assistant Store Manager, Operations Department Manager, Selling Department Manager and Human Resources Manager o Administer performance appraisals and goals to Assistant Store Manager, Operations Department Manager, Selling Department Manager and Human Resources Manager o Complete a manpower planning strategy once a month with Visual Manager and submit to District Manager/District Visual Manager o Supervise the use of disciplinary action o Ensure the use of all customer care resources Process o Adhere to all typical day/week/stock/monday guidelines o Partner with Visual Manager to complete weekly, monthly and quarterly planning o Manage all aspects of store operational controls o Manage all weekly and daily scheduling/zoning o Ensure daily restock guidelines are met o Partner with the Operations Department Manager in the cycle count process on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy, integrity and procedural compliance o Perform all opening and closing procedures o Ensure daily adherence to opening and closing checklist o Train all managers to have a high standard for operations and loss prevention o Control store operations budgets and manage store petty cash o Meet or exceed the store shrinkage percentage goal o Review with management team operational audits and District Manager/District Visual Manager checklists o Uphold all company policy and procedureJob LocationLos Angeles, CA USPosition TypeFull-Time/Regular |
