Directs and oversees all marketing communications, publications and external website activities. Ensures consistency of the Charter House message to respective target audiences externally. Measures and analyzes tactics to ensure successful outcomes and set strategic direction for the sales and marketing efforts. Accountable for effective communications and active listening and willing to adapt, adjust and be supportive when objectives shift to ensure long term viability and success of the enterprise. Works collaboratively with Charter House Administration and other Charter House staff to create and sustain a caring community that is a model of service to the housing and health care needs of older persons in a manner consistent with the philosophy and tradition of Mayo Clinic. Facilitates the smooth transition of residents from their current home into Charter House. THIS IS A TEMPORARY 3 MONTH ASSIGNMENT-NOT BENEFIT ELIGIBLE. Effectively collaborates with other marketing-related disciplines to ensure strategy-driven coordination and positive marketing outcomes for Charter House as a whole. # Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business, marketing and/or related field and two years of sales/marketing experience is required. Other Qualifications: Significant experience with demonstrable success in senior housing would be preferred. Must be flexible, handle ambiguity and accountable for marketing related projects. Able to perform well within internal and external functional environments. Excellent human relations skills to interact effectively with prospects and all Charter House residents. Strong planning, organizational, and forecasting skills. Thorough understanding of sales and marketing services that is conducive and effective within the senior housing industry. Decision-making and problem-solving ability, while maintaining adherence to Mayo Clinic/Charter House policies and procedures. Experience with implementing processes and tracking results of marketing strategies and tactics. Must possess tact and sensitivity to handle difficult issues involving strong emotions and personal financial information impacting future and current residents. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to closely attend to detail and monitor the work of outside vendors. Excellent written and oral presentation skills. Keeping a positive and courteous tone, particularly in adversarial discussions.
