Staff Pipeline Engineer Job in Houston (Texas, USA, United States)

Minimum Requirements: B.S. degree in Engineering.Minimum four years experience in pipeline design and construction projects in the midstream/pipeline industry.Must have knowledge of codes and standards for liquid and/or gas pipelines including CFR 49, Part 192 & 195, ASME 31.3 & 31.8, NEC.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for all items delegated by the Project Manager to the Project Engineer. Typically, the Project Engineer will be responsible for leading engineering and design activities throughout the various engineering service groups, and assisting in other Project Management activities including: scope development, route selection, project resource loading, cost estimating and reporting, scheduling and forecasting, material requisition, HSE support, construction management, RFI, and start-up assistance.Responsibilities also include:Work directly with engineers and design drafters to produce final engineering designs for pipeline and/or pipeline related facilties.Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
