Soil & Asphalt Lab Technician Job in Hayward (California, USA, United States)

Minimum Requirements: Minimum High school diploma or its equivalent. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the laboratory testing of construction materials. Individual should be self-motivated with ability to work independently with general direction from supervisor.Qualities include the following;• Understanding and knowledge of standard lab testing methods and procedures• Basic math and computer skills• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and laboratory software• A team player with a strong ability to work effectively with peers and superiors

Job Description:
• Conducts laboratory testing on soil, asphalt, and other construction materials in accordance with standard methods and procedures• Reviews, tabulates and reduces test data, calculates test results and prepares standard test reports• Calibrates, and verifies laboratory equipment and tools on a regular basis• Maintains and updates lab test records and database• Supports continuous improvements of lab processes, including
