Job Description:

The Director is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating operational and personnel activities to ensure the provision of quality services to meet the needs of those served by the department. The Director provides leadership based on the Franciscan Healthcare (FH) mission, vision, and values. The role includes ongoing collaboration and communication utilizing shared goal setting and decision making with physicians, associate providers, department staff and multidisciplinary team members. The Director will maintain a professional environment and on-going development of staff. The Director applies current leadership and management theories and participates in the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of five years previous RN experience is required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Demonstrated excellence in leadership abilities. Demonstrated excellent communication skills.

License or Certification: Wisconsin RN license or eligible required.
