Hospital Licensed Practical Nurse / Medical Assistant Job in Menomonie (Wisconsin, USA, United States)

Job Description:

The Emergency Room licensed practical nurse is responsible for age-specific data collection, performs observations of patient’s physical, psychological and social needs, assists the registered nurse in developing a plan of care and provides direct patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse.Receives direction from the nurse manager of the department and/or nursing supervisor, registered nurses and physicians. Gives direction to certified nursing assistants and health unit clerks. Works cooperatively with registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, physicians and all ancillary departments of Mayo Clinic Health System – Red Cedar

Basic Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will possess, interpersonal communication skills, , basic computer skills, and strong customer service skills. 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

License or Certification: Current BLS certification, an active WI LPN license or MA program completion certification
