As a member of an integrated audit team, the FOP Auditor assists Audit Managers in the performance of operational, compliance, financial statements, integrated, and system reviews of all Mayo Clinic entities. The FOP Auditor maintains effective working relationship with audit team members and customers. The FOP Auditor assists in the evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and system processes. Specifically, the FOP Auditor assists in the preparation of audit programs and audit reports. The FOP auditor is responsible for gathering and analyzing accurate and relevant information, and documenting audit results. As needed, the FOP Auditor assists in the performance of audits utilizing audit software. Travel of 20 to 25% is expected. # Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or general business required. Other Qualifications:
Certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CMA) or willingness to work towards certification preferred.
One to four years auditing experience preferred. Prior public accounting experience with national or regional firm considered a plus. Strong analytical and communication skills required. Desktop computer skills required. Experience with Lotus Notes, Excel, and Word preferred. Experience with ACL and Auto Audit a plus. Benefit Eligible: Yes

Hours/Pay Period: Full Time
Schedule Details: Monday - Friday
Compensation Detail: Exempt = Salaried - Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every two weeks is approximately $1973.60, based on a full-time position.
