| Direct hire opportunity for a Junior AutoCAD Drafter/Designer to work on projects for existing industrial equipment product line and may also participate in new product design work. Exceptional Foot-in-the-Door Opportunity to work for a growing international industry leader in industrial robotics equipment! Prepare fabrication and standard product drawings for plant production.
Develop detailed drawings based on verbal instructions or CAD layouts from engineers
Generate layout drawings to moderate complexity based on verbal instructions from engineers
Obtains and documents necessary measurements or observations in the production areas.
Verifies the contents of the drawings are accurate and complete
Handles routine paperwork and correspondence including quotes, parts lists, estimate sheets, bills of material, etc.
Produces drawings from approved drafting requests.
Engage in a collaborative working relationship with engineering to produce final products
Completes project goals timely as assigned, and provides periodic updates.
Complies with all internal standards and processes. Requirements
Associates Degree in Engineering or Drafting preferred.
1+ years of Structural or mechanical drafting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Knowledge of Engineering Department concepts, policies and procedures including drafting standards is required.
Proficient with AutoCAD.
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Word and Excel programs.
Strong mechanical aptitude
Excellent organizational skills
Problem solving skills with a drive for results
