As part of a multidisciplinary team of electrical, software and biomedical engineers at Mayo Clinic, you will develop a modeling technique and model to identify faults in the design of a hardware-software intensive system and analyze those faults through various techniques. Knowledge of windows software, electronic controls and mechanical enclosures preferred. # Basic Qualifications: Recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree or enrolled in a Master's degree in an engineering discipline (computer, electrical or mechanical engineering) or computer science. Knowledge of Functional Failure Identification and Propagation (FFIP) required Other Qualifications: Experience / knowledge of Digital Instrumentation and Controls, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Reliability Engineering, and Control Systems Design, Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise documentation. Demonstrated ability to work constructively in a collaborative development environment. Engineering or educational experience with software and software modeling is desirable.
