| Purpose/Role: The Financial Reporting Senior Accountant performs monthly accounting and reporting for restructuring programs, assists in management of global SOX 404 and Accounting Policies and Procedures programs, and performs technical accounting research. Position reports to the Manager of Financial Reporting and has a high degree of interaction with the Corporate Accounting & Consolidation, FP&A, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, HR and Legal teams, as well as interaction with other Divisional and Regional finance groups across the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare quarterly debt covenant calculation and review for compliance. Perform monthly restructuring accounting, including providing guidance and guidelines surrounding proper accounting in accordance with US GAAP and internal policies, reconciling monthly global accounts, and reviewing activity for reasonableness. Review and analyze proposed accounts receivable factoring agreements and work with legal counsel to obtain true-sale opinions as required. Assist in the management and execution of the Company's global SOX 404 program, including determining program scope, consulting with sites on control documentation and test plans, and coordinating management self-testing, internal and external auditor testing. Assist in the management and execution of the Company's global accounting policies and procedures maintenance and updates, including providing guidance on current policies and recent updates and responding to site questions. Assist in the implementation of the Company's new stock compensation reporting tool, as needed. Assist in preparation of quarterly forecast and annual planning process for items associated with areas of responsibility noted above.
