Therapists also serve as clinical instructors for Occupational Therapy Students and other medical professionals. The Occupational Therapist works closely with the patient, family, and other members of a physician-led team in providing individualized patient treatment. The Occupational Therapist assists with department and program planning. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university required. Must have current Arizona licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Other Qualifications: Applicants with acute neurological, oncology, solid organ transplant and ICU rehabilitation experience are preferred. License or Certification: Basic life support education must completed within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter. Benefit Eligible: Yes Exemption Status: Exempt Hours/Pay Period: 80 Schedule Details: Monday-Friday, 8 hour day shifts; however, applicants must be flexible to future 10 and 12 hour shifts post orientation Weekend Schedule: 2 weekend days/month Compensation Detail: Salaried - Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every two weeks is approximately $2,288.00, based on a full-time position.
