Relocation Provided Yes General Job Objective Manitowoc Ovens and Advanced Cooking (Cleveland Range), a member of the Manitowoc Foodservice family of companies, global leaders in commercial foodservice equipment, is seeking a results driven Operations Manager. Manitowoc Ovens and Advanced Cooking specializes in the design and manufacturing of steam cooking equipment, including combi cooking equipment, ovens and rotisseries, convection steamers, cook/chill systems. Key responsibilities of this position include Improvement of productivity and efficiencies of manufacturing operations, lead and provide training of staff for lean initiatives and kaizen events, provide for the overall development of staff positions and lead the implementation, development and improvement of the Safety Management System. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this position is based in Cleveland, Ohio. Essential Job Functions - Implement Lean Manufacturing Techniques. - Management and training of direct reports - Manage Operations Projects/Assignments - Lead Problem Solving Teams - Improve safety, efficiency and productivity/quality Job Requirements/Working Conditions - Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in Operations required or a minimum of 9 years experience in Operations in lieu of degree. - Yellow Belt required, will be responsible for Lean training, Kaizan events, projects, etc. - Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required. - Knowledge and experience in Safety Management Program a plus. - Experience in sheet metal, fabrication or assembly a plus. - Project Management experience a plus. - MS Office knowledge including skills in Excel required. - Normal working factory conditions, must be able to walk extensively throughout the day. - Minimal travel approximately 10% J2W:CB1 EEO STATEMENT
