Intern - Pharmacy Job in Eau Claire (Wisconsin, USA, United States)

Job Description:

Duties primarily involve providing an intern with relevant field experiences involving direct customer service within the retail pharmacy environment. The intern is also responsible for learning the pharmacy computer system, the order/filling process for prescriptions and participating in the overall functions and processes of the assigned work unit. The intern may be given selected work assignments to reinforce the learning experience.

Position will begin Tuesday, May 29, 2012 and has a flexible end date of Friday, August 31, 2012.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education towards a degree in pharmacy or related field.

Other Qualifications:

Experience in a sales or retail setting preferred.

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Ability to type 40 WPM. Must demonstrate a strong team spirit and positive attitude. Ability to maintain flexibility and adapt to last minute schedule and assignment changes. Ability to work independently and responsibly, meeting deadlines and producing accurate, good quality work. Ability to demonstrate above average customer service and organization skills.
Hours/Pay Period: 80
Schedule Details: Monday - Friday; Start times are between 8:00-9:00 a.m. and ending times between 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
