Grabbing the Employer's Attention

Employers receive many CVs and most HR executives do not have the time or resources to look through each CV meticulously before making a shortlist. In fact, if your CV doesn't look the part immediately it could well be confined straight to the bin.

Your CV not only has to be well presented, but it also needs to grab the reader's attention right from the onset. Indeed, some recruiters even make a decision within the first 6 seconds, and sometimes decisions are made purely on presentation and how the first part of the first page reads.

Consequently, it is vital that you aim to have an advantage over your competitors and make an immediate good impression.
